Three candidates stand out for demonstrating the experience, knowledge, and compassion needed to address our city’s complex challenges. These three are dedicated and practical public servants with “day jobs” in education.  Each has shown thoughtful leadership during years on the City Council. 

Ryan Coonerty, now running for Mayor, brings eight years of experience as County Supervisor, where he has overseen a $1 billion budget supporting public health, safety, infrastructure, and essential County services. His record reflects both strong management and a deep understanding of the issues facing our region.  Remember, this is our second directly elected Mayor with a critical role setting the agenda for each City Council meeting.
